I came across this site while on the net. I was wondering whether you might know of the person whom I could get in contact with abou the possibility of playing Rugby for this club in the year 2000. I would also like to know when your Rugby season starts and finishes? I am 26 years of age and hail from Wellington New Zealand. I am very interested in playing Rugby and working in the United States possibly for the Taibach RFC. I have played Rugby in the city of Wellington(Population approx. 450,000) since I was 5. I have represented the Province at Secondary school, and age group levels, also played Senior Maori Rugby for Wellington. I have played Premier 1(senior 1) top grade club level Rugby in Wellington since I was 19 and I have a great understanding of the game and f rward play in particular. I can play in all loose forward positions, and this year moved into Hooker for my club side. I feel equally at home in any of these positions. My family has strong ties with rugby, my father having played for the Marlborough and Mid Canterbury Rugby unions in the late 60's in the New Zealand domestic rugby competition. Also I have a younger brother who plays in the first division of New Zealand omestic rugby competition for the Southland RFU. He has also represented the New Zealand Maori's and is in the 1999 New Zealand Academy Rugby side. He was called into the Otago Highlanders Super 12 Rugby side, which is one of the teams that play in the Su er 12 tournament consisting of South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. I would like to spend a couple of season�s maybe more playing overseas and would like to know whether a club like Taibach RFC would be interested in me playing for them. Does this Club have a quota on overseas players? I would also like to know about the prospects of Employment.
